BUDD NC VICTORY FUND 2028 NOTICE
Contributions to BUDD NC VICTORY FUND 2028 are not tax deductible for federal income tax purposes.
Contributions by corporations, foreign nationals and federal government contractors are prohibited
BUDD NC VICTORY FUND 2028 is a joint fundraising committee on behalf of Ted Budd for Senate, the
North Carolina Republican Party and Old North State PAC. Joint fundraising proceeds shall be allocated
according to the following formula:
❖ The First $2,900 of any contribution by an individual or non-multicandidate PAC and the
next $5,000 from a multicandidate PAC shall be allocated to the Ted Budd for Senate to
max-out the 2022 General Election Debt Retirement up until the debt has been retired and
❖ The next $3,300 of any contribution by an individual or non-multicandidate PAC and the
next $5,000 from a multicandidate PAC shall be allocated to the Ted Budd for Senate to
max-out the 2028 Primary Election and
❖ The next $3,300 of any contribution by an individual or non-multicandidate PAC and the
first $5,000 from a multicandidate PAC shall be allocated to the Ted Budd for Senate to
max-out the 2028 General Election and
❖ The next $5,000 of any contribution by an individual or a non-multicandidate federal PAC,
or the next $5,000 of any contribution by a multicandidate federal PAC, shall be allocated to
Old North State PAC.
❖ The next $10,000 of any contribution by an individual or a non-multicandidate federal PAC,
or the next $5,000 of any contribution by a multicandidate federal PAC, shall be allocated to
the North Carolina Republican Party and
Notwithstanding this allocation formula, a contributor may designate his or her contribution for a particular
participant or group of participants. In addition, the allocation formula may change if a contributor makes a
contribution which would exceed the amount that contributor may give to a particular participant.
The legal maximum that an individual or a non-multicandidate political committee may contribute to the JFC
is $24,500 (1 candidate committee x 3 elections $9,500 + one Leadership PAC x $5,000 + 1 state party
committee x $10,000 = $24,500). The legal maximum that a multicandidate political committee may
contribute to the JFC is $25,000 (1 candidate committee x 3 elections $15,000 + one Leadership PAC x
$5,000 + 1 state party committee x $5,000 = $25,000).
All earmarked contributions will be allocated to the specified committee(s) as directed by the contributor, in accordance with
applicable individual and aggregate contribution limits under the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971, as amended. All
funds received in response to this solicitation will be subject to federal contribution limits and prohibitions. Contributions from
corporations, federal contractors, and foreign nationals are prohibited. All contributions are required to be made with personal
funds and not those of another. Personal/Individual Credit Cards only.
